Bill's Part... :-]
I graduated from Rift Valley Academy, Kenya in 1991 as a Missionary Kid. My parents went to work in Zimbabwe in 1976, and never came back. Although my life and transition back to America has been rough to say the least, I would not change a thing. I know God is preparing me for my future in which I will serve him with all my heart. I was recently asked why I wanted to go into missions. The truth is Missions is not my first choice for a career. I'd much rather be earning a high salary and be comfortable for the rest of my life. My calling is higher than that though. If I've learned anything over the last few years, it's that God's will must always be above my own. He has laid a deeply seeded yearning in my heart for the people of Africa. Even to the point that it's all I talk about. After returning from our internship, though I've realized not to keep such a narrow mind about where we want to go. I plan to explore all the options God opens to us to find our nitch. |

Leah's Part
I have been interested in missions since committing my life to Jesus when I was 12 years old. A youth group mission trip to Mexico when I was 16 really sparked the love for missions that has grown to what it is today. I prayed, and sought advice and decided I wanted to become a missionary. I went to Christian College to meet my goal. I would only date men that were as committed to missions as I was. I meet Bill at St. Louis Christian College... we married, and I am looking forward to working on the field with him.
I'd love to hear from you!
