ACM International: Mission
ACM International is a voluntary group of Christian called by God for the supreme purpose of establishing and edifying churches of Christ in stategic populations.
We are not a church, but a church-helping organization. We seek to develop working partnerships with Christians around the world. We believe it is the role of local congregations to send missionaries. ACMI prepares and supports those missionaries.
ACM International, formally known as Africa Christian Mission, was chartered in 1948, in the United States. Our missionaries worked exclusively in the Belgian Congo (aka Zaire) for 40 years. In that time we helped to establish over 400 Christian congragations and national leadership. More recently, our work is expanding to be genuinely worldwide.
ACM International: Message
ACMI is a Christian mission. Our message is that Jesus Christ is God's unique Son. His life is our supreme expample of how we should live. His death is payment for our offenses toward God. His resurrection gives us hope of eternal life. All who believe in Christ will live eternally.
All people are equally in need of Christ, who commanded his followers to make disciples of all nations.
"What we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, that you may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ." 1 John 1:3
